I think that there is a good mix of gymnasts that have got into squad this year! It seems that there is more of a range of gymnasts. I thought it was sooooo encouraging to have many juniors and Under 13's at both Grades finals and British, (In comparison to other years) taht there is more competition, and we should get better as a nation!

I agree, that squad is not the 'be-all-and-end-all' of rhythmic, far from it, the girls and their coaches have to put MORE work in, to get results and keep up with the standards and pressures. I feel that 'squad' seems like it's everything as that is where the selections for competitions abroad is made, perhaps we could select from British, or British open etc etc???????? (Only My personal opinion)
