Subject: Newport Beach Golf Course

Took my girlfriend here yesterday. It was her first time at a golf course. I golfed the front 9 for $11 twilight (after 3:00 pm). The course in not challenging at all. I've golfed other executive courses that make you work on your short game. NB golf course is easy and is definitely for beginners. I don't like the fact that you hit off of mats either....bush league. Looked the like the greens were recovering from airation so the quality of the greens was sub par. However, I would golf here again since it's cheap, convenient and not intimidating to new golfers (i.e. my girlfriend)
