Subject: The Mirror - New look men's b-ball have questions to answer

Story point out a few things about the scrimmage and team

- MOS trimmed down

- Carter was expecting Max to provide about 15ppg.... thats what I thought.

- Carter will be a tri-captain, along with Bell and Charles Bentley '06. The absence of Terrance Todd is noticable, but he sure looked like he took contol on the court, as the article stated.

- "O'Toole said that he has no clue yet who his starting five will be". I would say that Todd and MOS are teh only definites at this time

What a credit to Bentley to be a tri-captain.

Agreed! Bentley is the type of positive story that the CT Post should be covering. Bentley is a local guy from Bridgeport and came to Fairfield from Harding HS where he was heralded scholar-athlete. Now here is in his senior year and while he is not a star and receives limited playing time, he has still garnered the respect of teammates as evident by his being selected a captain.

Much credit is due Bentley. Obviously he is not one to lament his lack of playing time and is willing to accept his role. A great honor when one considers his situation! This is his fourth year of participation and his loyalty to the program under circumstances which have made so many others resign, was undoubtedly a factor in his selection. Has there ever been a walk-on with this much tenure? Perhaps he will have the opportunity to play more minutes.
