I beat you to it Antman! I was disappointed in reading the Boxscore to see that only 487 attended the game. We had over 1,000 at the FDU game. I know that Stags in the Stands plan alot activities with food around this game deserved a better showing. Let's hope it still went well for them and the students show some more support on Sunday against Canisius!

FAIRFIELD, Conn. - The Fairfield University men's soccer team stretched its unbeaten streak to eight games, defeating visiting Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC) foe Niagara University 1-0 this evening on Lessing Field. The Stags are now 7-0-1 in the month of October.

The Stags (9-3-3; 5-0-1 MAAC) received all the offense they would need at 29:32, when Kerr McLeod (Saskatoon, Seskat.) crossed a ball from the left side of the box towards the middle. Vasilis Androutsos (Toronto, Ontario) took the cross and volleyed it high into the net for the 1-0 lead...

I believe this is the most widely followed Website for college soccer. They have their own Top 30 rankings which the Stags have not cracked yet. If the Stags beat the Griffins tommorrow and given the above comments, then I suspect we will crack into their Top 30..
