Some quotes from story. A lot of little play's that could have made a difference. But my biggest concern, was that that we let a team that was struggling with their shooting, become confident. Do that in an away gym, and your dead meat.

"We had our opportunities and blew it," Fairfield coach Tim O'Toole said. "Today was terrible. We had veteran players and couldn't get it done."

O'Toole wasn't happy about his team's defense. Niagara, Which came into the game shooting 38.9 percent from the field and 29.6 percent from 3-point range, shot 51 percent (25-of-49) from the field and 50 percent (12-of-24) from beyond the arc.

"We've let that happen too often," O'Toole said. "We have to do a better job."
