Subject: Kentucky 73, Iona 67 - CLOSE game

Sounds like Iona gave the Wildcats all they wanted, they had a chance at the end for sure. Iona caught a break though with UK playing in Louisville instead of Lexington. I think only 12,000 showed up, a far cry from the 24,000 that scream for Kentucky at Rupp Arena. Still, Iona made the MAAC look good last night.

Agreed...during the Ohio State Buckeyes game broadcast the announcers noted the final score and stated "That Iona team is pretty good. They hung in there with Kentucky."
