Subject: Women lose to Lehigh - live report from Stabler Arena

Women lose to the host Lehigh team 70-42. Stags offense was not existent with bad shooting and errant passes.We went 11 deep and I would say that 9 out of the 11 players were not effective at all. Podurg and Shirell Moore had a decent game and they were the 10th and 11th players off the bench. Some comments on the game:

- Sabra Wrice was way off 1-13. Without her offense we struggle a lot. And since she has been an inconsistnet player, I think this team can play really good or really bad based on her performance. Wrice kept on driving into the heart of the "D". Sheed to thak a pull-up 10 footer.... thats her game.

- Baendu Lowenthal looked to either jam a finger or break a finger and she sat out the rest of the game. Cziria also sat out which I think was an injury (ankle???)

- Candice Lindsay and Ryan also struggled with out of control drives to the hoop. These two have to take the shot they can make, but both seem to be inconsistent players as Lindsay was just the MAAC POW, and Ryan won a game singlehandedly for us a few weeks ago

- going 11 deep also adds to inconsistency.

- Stabler Arena was a nice 5,500 seat on campus arena. Simply done...... shows what you can do with concreate and steel. Lehigh Men do not draw well there..... except maybe for Lafayette which is 10-15 minutes away, and they have a nice 4,000 seat arena that I have been in before.

- Good showing of Fairfield fans, but I expect they were mostly parents and family. I had a chance to talk to Robbie Thomson's father who lives very close to Stabler Arena. Great to see he still supports the Stags. Robbie still playing for Newark Express in the ABA.... about 14ppg, 9rpg

- Towson tonight,.... I might be there
