For those of you who are questioning video streaming over the Internet you can view the Winthrop vs. Memphis game on CSTV for free today. The game started at 2pm. You will also be able to view the Detriot v. Bulter game for free on CSTV on Jan. 14th. I think you will all be pleasantly surprised at the quality of the video!!!

You said it right stagophile... at QU it's part of marketing's strategic plan. That unfortunately is not the case at Fairfield. It all comes down to $$. Fairfield's chuck dolan (cablevision) connection makes it even worse. The Stags should have been on cablevision long ago. Ask athletics and marketing why this hasn't been addressed, not SID. It all comes from the top.

The ability to produce these programs using the media center and students is already there. I've seen what the media center and Fairfield media students can do and it is impressive.

If there's an issue with the video stream from the AHY then we should talk to whoever signed the deal to play there and ask them why this wasn't already part of the plan to begin with. Terrible.

Over the past decade I've come to the conclusion that the decision makers at FU are not forward thinkers and have lost touch with the world of technology.

I hope and believe that this will change.

Does this administration even feel that there is a need for an AHY video stream?

Fair point about SID. Can't expect SID to do everything especially where directions and resources from above are limited.

I am fairly tech savvy and know that the following private line solutions are available...

Lightpath Metro Ethernet Service (subsidiary of Cablevision)

Covad T1 Service
