You are correct campion 109, i think it was the 89-90 season. Joestag - i agree with your prediction, i am calling for an ugly game with the stags pulling out a 66-60 win, based on a strong game for Todd who will have something to prove after last years lost to the rams.

The team hustles but are simply outtalented. Fordham is not very good, despite their win over Virginia (minus Singletary). As I recall, even lowly Siena beat them by 10.

50-35 at half. Our defense is just not getting it done. and a 21-0 run by Fordham in a 5 minute run was a killer about 5 t/o's in that run.

We shoot 50% from the arc and so does Fordham, so our strength is still not a strength

"Lowly" Saints are 4-3 with victories over America East favorite, an A10 and last years MAAC champs on their home court. I would slow down talking about "lowly" right now. The only "lowly" team is our own.

[> [> [> THE PROBLEM -- Bridgeport, 08:02:03am 12/15/05 Thu, [1]

due to a lack of people in the front court , we are over compensating with the help defense, then, after a ball reversal,
----- a open look------If it dosent go, the put back does.
TOT thinks it is a lack of fight. We think its a poor philosophy
designed to cover other problems ( size ) .

this team does not lack effort, or fight, it just did not get all the pieces required at the time santa was filling his bag at the recruiting warehouse.

Unfortunately, due to the investigation that led to NOTHING, the warehouse was closed.

Everyone's points are valid. However, our defensive scheme is terrible. It is like 5 chickens running around with their heads cut off. Does TOT really think that college players can't hit wide open three point shots? Does he think that double or triple teaming the ball is going to be effective against anyone who can walk and chew gum at the same time? Don't blame your players, LOOK IN THE MIRROR AND LOOK HARD!

I think I saw similar things vs G-Town, where a player was wide open at the arc and two players ran after him. The players were trying hard, but were out of position.

In the same manner, there were too many times where a G-Town player took us off a pick and both our players either went with the dribber or with the picker.... again putting us out of position with a man open.

We should not be triple teaming and only double teaming when the opportunities make sense. I do not like teh idea of packing it in and getting beat buy 3's. I would rather us trying to beat them by our 3-pointers against their 2-pointers.
