Things do look bleak at the present time, but I take a more optimistic view than some others, at least as far as starting with next year is concerned. First things first, if we get MAx back to go along with Mamadou, and perhaps Marty, we could definitely see a big improvement. But I see some great things down the road starting with a strong foundation in Han (whom I have stated before should help us bring in another big man to go along with Nero). A front court with some combination of Marty, Mamadou, Nero, Geoff, Reedal, and Mr X could certainly hold their own in the league. And Han, MVS, Herbie, and DO are capable guards.

Merry Christmas, before I begin, to all out there in Stag Nation. I would guess it is significantly warmer here than where most of the eyeballs looking at this are located.
And it must be Christmas for anyone who claims to know b-ball gives this team a C-. Imagine if they won an additional game how the grading curve would have been broken! Had a chance to see St. Patrick's H.S. (N.J.) play this past week in the City of Palms Tounament. For the #3 team in the nation, they looked a little slower than I expected, but I think it is the Big East style they emulate. How nice it would have been to get their big guy.

Let's hope Santa brings a big man or two (defined as 6'10" or better); a 2G to compliment Han and the "missing ingredient" to bring this team 20+ wins -- next year.
