I don't agree with you. Lets see if SHU sweeps St. Francis and then I might be inclined to agree with you.

Either way this Fairfield team with Maxwell and Mamadou is a heck of a lot better than the team that lost to Saint Francis. I think you need to divide this season in half, we have the 1-7 first half team and a ?-? second half team. I think this team wins more game than they lose in the second half...

As well as seeing all but one of Stag games, I have seen SHU three times, (Lehigh, Columbia, exhibition contest). In my opinion if they were to meet today, this would be a toss-up. Don't forget, the Pioneers have been without arguably their best scorer in Joey Henley, and they do have inside scoring in Kibwe Trim. This is just objective (anyone who knows me knows I would be rooting for the Stags). Any other of the past few years we would have won easily however. Count me in favor of a game between the schools(rather than playing Elon, Charlston Southern, etc.), let the best team win, and go on from there. Remember, the Fairfield teams of the 60's and 70's used to play UB, were expected to win (and usually did), but the world went on even if they did't.
