Respect. I truly believe that is something that has to be earned, even in this era of Egalitarianism and other PC nonsense. We have not played to a level to deserve any respect from any corner of the basketball world. Any rabid Hoya fan is licking his chops about this game, which even before the season began they had penciled a "W" next to. Granted we aren't the MEAC, but they had hoped playing us would be an upgrade. Now....
The morning line is 20. The Stags maybe the one of the worst teams v. the line this year - very unpredictable, except for knowing the outcome.
We lose (again) and the debate continues about the merits of coaches, players, lineups, strategies, recruiting needs and fifth year players. We need to see some improvement, indiividually and collectively, as the season progresses. It is hard to tell if that is happening without watching the team and from reading this board (sorry guys) - I know that coaching is the only constant over the past years and, saddly, that does not seem to be improving.
