In reply to: RayS 's message, "When is enough enough?" on 04:08:33pm 12/12/05 Mon,

If I was forced to opine, I would think the average of the entire seven years is about all that we could ever expect. I don't see going much beyond the 19 win years and this year will struggle to get to .500.

The frustrating part is the seeming lack of learning in some areas. You are going to lose some games in the last second, but you can't lose them like you did against Loyola. (Someone reminded me above of the Iona game of a few years ago....ugh) TOT NEVER learned to take Goode out when you needed a shot creator. You can love the kid and I think he was tough, effective and fun to watch. But you have to understand what he could not do, and TOT never did. Then, ending up with no front court after having no backcourt earlier is tough to swallow. I sense a stubbornness, the bad kind as well as the good kind.

Now they have had their moments, 98% of the Loyola game and lots of other times through the years. The wheels have not come off like they did at Loyola and St. Peters.

But I think what we have had is what we will have in the future. Is that good enough?

Frank,

I really do not see how comments like this come from a Fairfield Fan

- any big man has to be crazy to consider Fairfield
- Big men don't improve at Fairfield
- calling players Division II players
- Highlighting all the losses of our opponents, but not mentioning any of the wins that happen to be against teams like Kentucky, Texas, Kansas
- people are not going to pay $12/$18 to watch this kind of basketball. Its a disgrace.
- even a comment on the mascot…. ' I've never seen such a worthless mascot."

These are all comments that focus on discrediting the program, and there are many others. You know that you were banned from this board last year, and then tried to spam it quite a few times. Even with that, I let you back on, even though you never asked to be let back on…… and you still continue to make comments like the above.

And as I tried to find some comments from you on the Tulane win, and Iowa game, I did not find any except that you mentioned (multiple times) Iowa lost their last 2 games….. failing to mention that their best player was hurt. Very rare from some who claims to be a Fairfield fan .

Unfortunately, I am not the only one who thinks this way. You are no longer welcome.
