I agree with most of the comments made above. The Big East refs made some critical calls against us, and hurt us badly on the calls. Oglesby finally had his breakout game, and is a pure shooter, and made most of his shots on his own, and has great range. He was repeatedly fouled on his drives, and the refs failed to give us the fouls. Han is a great point guard, does not turn the ball over, and can really excel at that position. Our lack of the inside game is appaling, and Middleton is a very mediocre player and will perpetually be a project. We will lose many a game with our limited inside play.We need to recruit two more big men for next year, who can come and play immediately, and hopefully experiencedJUCO's.The team played their hearts out,and deserved a victory. The student support was abysmal, and their support could have made the difference. I am disappointd in Bell. He should be our leader, and not is not performing. I noticed that the majority of his shots, hit the front of the rim and thus were short. I like Todd a lot, but as mentioned above, played poorly and perhaps selfishly at the end. However I have confidence in him and believe he will win us some games. The team played with great spirit and abandon, and deserves our full backing. Hopefully the red sea will become a factor and student support will improve.

Because of Jon Han being just a freshman on the team, any strong big inside player would be foolish not to consider coming to Fairfield (at least as far as basketball is concerned), because when open he would get him the ball! I'm sure this is a point that will be emphasised in recruiting. Indeed success in this area could lead to some very good squads for the next two or three years.
