Subject: Story says Iona
In reply to: Stagophile 's message, "Stop The Presses!!!" on 10:34:44pm 11/04/05 Fri,

Scouts Database says he comitted to Fairfield, but the story says Iona, and also mentions Jeff Ruland, so its likely he committed to Iona when Rulands name is mentioned. If you just read the first sentence of the story, it gives you a feeling that Fairfield's the choice. Here's the story, with the exact words:

Milan Prodanovic, who recently took his third official visit this past weekend to Fairfield University, has ended his recruiting process. The 6-foot-1, 165-pound combo guard from Archbishop Molloy High School in Briarwood, New York, also visited Iona and New Hampshire officially.
Prodanovic decided to pick Iona College over New Hampshire and Fairfield. He has the ability to score consistently from the perimeter and should be an impact player for head coach Jeff Ruland.

Milan is also a good student. This site will have more on Prodanovic's decision.

Goes into detail below on Milan's decision

11/5/05 Humberto Corredor Jr: Milan Prodanovic commits to Iona University. High profile scoring at Molloy High School makes a early verbal commitment. Milan wanted to commit before the season "I really don't want to think about colleges during the season, I want to focus on this season." Congradulations to Milan, and his family. Milan made his decision after visiting Fairfiled, New Hamsphere, and Iona with strong interest from St. Francis (NY) and Stony Brook.'

11/5/05 Vinny Kabus: 'I would like to congratulate Milan Prodanovic on his commitment to Iona . Despite the fact that Milan had some good choices of schools, it became clear to Milan that Iona could provide him with his goals of staying close to his family, playing for a coaching staff that he feels comfortable with, as well as an opportunity to play a lot right away . It's good to see that a kid who works hard on and off the court, as well as in the classroom ( 92 + GPA ) achieve his goals . The pressure of choosing a college is now off . Good luck !'

Just a blip from the Insiders staff, I guess.
