Subject: A Perfect 10 Clinches MAAC Regular Season Title For Nationally Ranked Men's Soccer

It was unfamiliar territory for Head Coach Carl Rees and his lads. But good teams find a way to navigate through unchartered waters to reach their destination, which is exactly what the Fairfield University men's soccer team did on Friday night.

For the first time in eight Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC) contests, the Stags, ranked 24th in the national poll, found themselves behind in a game. But the deficit would not last as sophomore Sam Bailey and senior Vasilis Androutsos each tallied a goal to lead their teammates to a 2-1 come-from-behind victory over Marist College. The win also cliniched the MAAC regular-season championship and the top seed in next week's MAAC tournament which will be held at Lessing Field.

Has the men's soccer program ever made it to the NCAA's? I know they had some good teams, but did they ever play in the tourney? I know the women have made it before.
