I agree. I won't see it, but it sounds like just the ticket for Mr. Lynx.

I think The Departed won so many awards just because Martin Scorsese didn't win for some of his better movies. The Academy does that a lot. By the same token, Alan Arkin won best supporting actor for a role that was pretty much a toss-off, because he didn't win in 1968 for "The Heart is a Lonely Hunter" or in 1978 for the original "The In-Laws."
