 Thank you Mary!!! I had a bankruptcy teacher who obviously thought it was a great way to manage your finances - if you get into trouble, just file! And you can do it every 7 years! What a deal! As a financial professional, she made me cringe. To me, it shows that someone (in her situation - not in all situations) is unwilling to accept responsibility for her own actions. And that goes to credibility.
