1971 Rotax 335 - Good spark, runs decent - $180 -

1970-ish Rotax 299 with 335 head - runs good, needs some repair on muffler - $150 -

1972 Rotax 335 - No spark at the moment - but turns over good and complete - $130 -

1971 Rotax 300 - No spark at the moment - but turns over good and complete - $130 -

All are suitable for Ski-doo Olympique Snowmobiles of that vintage. Or build a Monster Elan.

Plus parts and pieces for old Rotax motors. Have a few partial vintage 247 Rotax motors about.

As stated, 1972 A/C Panther 292 one-lunger engine in good shape. This sled is missing a windshield, and has a small crack in the glove box, the seat is not perfect by any means, but does the job. Engine fires right up, this was a barn find this past fall and the motor was freshened up and runs great! Last time registered was in 1977 in WI. Low miles, very snappy for a vintage sled, sounds great! Belly pan is in good shape, as well as the tunnel. Skis are in good shape, may need a paint job to look great, but structurally good. Track is in good shape and has the rare 'Cat Claws' on it as well.
Runs and moves great. Great candidate for a restoration project, just don't have the time.

All Original - Runs good. You will be hard pressed to find one nicer.

The good -

Starts and runs beautifully
No major rust issues
One of the straightest chassis I have seen in years
solid muffler
very good chrome

The bad -
1) corner of backrest pad has been mouse chewed
2) some small holes in side of seat.
3) some rust in tank - not too bad.
4) Small hole in windsheild
5) Trim missing from windsheild
6) Missing airbox emblem.

I have a 1974 SS ELAN 294 that I restored and want to sell. New paint ,decals,seat cover and windshield.Sled is complete along with tool box and tools. Looks brand new. Runs good ,have a slight carb adjustment issue that I have figured out now.The console does have a crack ,I couldn't find one in the last month to replace it.Lights work, track has a couple more seasons in it.Placed 3rd in the 1971-1978 restored class at the Waconia,Mn Vintage show on Feb 1st with this Elan. 399 Rotax - Manual Start - Runs good as motor has been all gone through and checked out.

Track is fair.

Has 72 Olympique hood and backrest. Hood has no windsheild and a few cracks.

Seat is recovered.

Good sled for Vintage SnowCross boogie class perhaps.

Fiberglass in good shape. Tunnel is good - needs a little work.

Seat needs recovered. 340 Liquid Cooled Motor.

Not running at the moment as I have not had a chance to get to it. Previous owner had it apart to change track and never finished putting it back together - needs to have chain case assembly finished, pipes put back on and clutch guard.

I have two motors a 250 single and a 250twin and I'm wondering what the torque and horsepower of the various motors the elan came with over the years and which give the better performance the tillotson or the mikuni carburator. Is the ss version a 300 single or twin and what was its hp and torque?

The drive shaft, complete with sprockets,( not the ones in the chaincase), the flange bearing/housing on the right supporting the shaft, the chaincase cover. I am trying to get my sled running again. What I need is a C.D.I. box (Polar Fire) I have found new ones that have been discontinued and I have found ones without the coils but what I need is the coil see the wire on one side of mine broke off right at the coil and I don't know how hot I can get it to connect a new wire. thought I could just replace it ( HA HA HA HA) any ideas thanks.

A project for someone with more time and expertise than me! Missing a few things, but definitely restorable!
The good: solid chassis, great sled body, nice track bands, motor turns over smoothly with compression, interesting bracket for a snowplow(?), original owners manual, been inside for the last few years (but was outside for(?) before that)
The not so good: a few dings in body, 3 missing/broken cleats, brake handle broken, one broken ski (but runner and foot rest there, backrest off and rotten, but there; missing: recoil, chain, brake mechanism...
Asking $750. OBO

It's in Fergus, but I will be going to North Bay on the weekend of Jan.24th and can bring it along in that direction if anyone commits to it.

1970 & 1971 Arctic cat Panthers. The 70 has only 980 miles and is in great condition. The leapord print seat is a near perfect as you can find. However its not the original engine. Also, comes the 1971 panther that I bought for the engine to put in the '70. Comes with a Spare engine, Big mouth hood, rechromed bumper. Many NOS parts and non-NOS parts for both. I have a solid '73 Colt SS Hood for sale[/b]
No cracks or holes (some minor spider cracks and some minor chipping at the bottom edges)
A bit faded and discoloured, but should polish up really nicely; Decals and Polaris emblems look great!
All latches are there and work
Almost perfect windshield
The glove box has been cracked and somewhat repaired, but still useable
The headlight wiring is attached
The ONLY real downside is the grill is damaged (as you can see in the last pic), otherwise you can probably use this as a good original hood with just some elbow grease!

386cc Lloyds Twin; sat in a dry garage for the last 20 years; seems to be mostly there, except for seat back, windshield, cardboard dash, and recoil is apart and off;
Ran when last put away (when previous owner's Father passed away), but motor is stuck from sitting (I have it soaking in oil, and am hopeful of freeing it up); spent 1/2 hour cleaning it before taking pictures...
- SOLID chassis (no rust through, just a bit of surface rust)
- good hood, some spider cracks, one small crack at top, all decals worn off
- nice skis (missing one loop)
- solid track (looks kind of dry, though)
- excellent snowflap
- track moves freely, but all bogie rubbers are rotted
- under seat storage is rusted out on the bottom corner of one side (see pic)
- chrome is rusty, but I've had worse clean up pretty well
- seat bottom and foam is all there (good for pattern), but is dry...

ummm i recently blew up my citation....i think it needs a piston and a crank. it is a 300. i have not looked at it yet, the local neighbor looked at it(polaris guy) and told me i killed it. it is not dead or worthless...i told him that the sled is just asking for a resto!!it is yellow black and grey, with a long track, i would be interested in an aggressor track as this sled has some pep to it (110-115k ;)i have won all of my trophies on this sled...youngest riderx2 oldest sled x4 i have been riding it for 9 years and hope to make it a tenth this year..i said HOPEING!!! any and all help will be appreciated and will be thanked for

I have 3 sleds to sell,1 1972 polaris colt ss340,this sled needs the top half of the ball joint on the steering arm and a choke cable which i have.The next one is a rare 1979 kawi intruder fan cooled 440,i think the secondary is gone has 130psi both cylinders,this sled was one sled length behind a wildcat 750 in a drag race,third one is a 1997 thundercat 900,air pods,extrovert drives c/w extra parts all 3 are in very good shape all stored inside,with very little effort the colt and intruder will run,the thundercat gets used once or twice a year.
