Im working on a friends 83 JD Liquifire 440 and I need Carb specs. Im not sure if the correct jets are in it. At wide open throttle it dogs down but when you flip the choke it picks back up. It has the darn power jet on the side of the carbs and I think they are junk but thats probably because they arent working lol. Any help will be greatly appreciated! Thanks for the site!!!

looking for information on wiring for 1972 nordic skidoo with 640 engine this snowmobile has electic start,electric fuel gauge,cigarette lighter,tack,head light high and low beam,kill swicth and brake light. this snowmobile has only 455 origanal miles when i bought this snowmobile the engine was a basket case it sat in a pack barn covered for years the person i bought it from had it given to him and he thought he could put gas in and go without lubeing the cylinders he got about two miles from home when he blew a ring thought it was the carb so he had it rebuild bonus for me why he completey tore the engine apart when he just blew a ring was beyond me.but i rebuild it and its running great now when he took engine out he cut all wires instead of unpluging them the harness is still there but he misplaced all plug ins. this snowmobile is in show room condition so i would like to find another wiring harness with all plug ins or information on wiring the old harness and ill just have to make up my own ends thanks if any one has any information or wiring harness it would be appriciated

I have a 1968 Ski doo Super Olympique and a 1973 Sno Jet Star Jet 292 (Yamaha Engine) for sale. They are both in good shape for their age. They have spent much of their life in storage. They both ran good when last used 2 years ago. I can email pictures. $350.00 each, firm. I will be driving to northern New York state in May and could possibly haul them back with me for a reasonable fee if you could meet me somewhere along the way.

I have a 1971 Skidoo Nordic for sale. It has been stored inside it's whole life and still runs great. The only thing it would need is a seat cover as the existing one has since cracked up. It has had very little use in the last 20 years with occasional tours around my property once or twice a winter. I was hoping to sell this to someone who will appreciate it for it's age and not just to have a cheap ride to drive into the ground.

Working on having Reproduction Ski-doo Covers made -

Currently have pricing on the 1972 TNT Fitted Cover - in yellow PVC coated polyester. Black stripe. Grommets and shock cord in the hem.

Price: $150 CANADIAN + Shipping (estimated at $25 - $50 - will be quoted on a per location basis)

Will also be doing that Elan Cover - based on my 1974 Deluxe / SS cover as a pattern, but will likely make them in either all yellow or all black.

Will also produce the 69/70 Olympique and 71/72 Olympique covers if all goes well.

Will also be making covers for other brands and makes.

Has no tag, but has the correct 299 CC ROTAX motor with HR carb. Not running at the moment. Motor is NOT seized.
Track is not great on this machine and hood has been damaged at one time.
Chassis is fairly solid and fairly straight.
A good starting point for a restoration (which I was going to do, but have a lack of time and space at the moment).

I have another CHASSIS that goes with it that has a NEWER track on it AND has the CORRECT 67 Super Olympique Serial Number tag.

Asking $260 for the pair OBO.

I just recently purchased a 1975 Suzuki Fury that has only 347 original miles and is in incredible shape. The owner had raced the sled pretty much since it was new during the mid to late 70's. It then sat for several years until 1999 when the storage building was flooded with about 12-14 inches of water. The motor is stuck but nothing is cracked that I can see. The owner didn't do a good job of cleaning it out. I am wondering what would help break this loose? I was told to use kerosene and let it soak for several days. I do have another Fury motor located but want to keep the sled original especially with the low miles. I would also like any information and/or articles on this sled. I've read some info on these sleds but would like more knowledge on them.

Hi guys, I just got a '76 (pretty sure of the year) Ski Doo with a 440 TNT Free Air in it. After some tinkering I managed to get it goin. Now I am having trouble to get it to stay running. I will fire up quickly with a few pumps on the primer, but won't stay running. Yesterday I booted around for about 20 mins on it, now I am lucky to get 20 seconds. Any idea's? Has new plugs, feul filter, gas, plenty of spark, and awsome pull when she wantd to go. This is my first sled, I traded a 6 pack of beer for it :)

Got a 74 Olympic 440 (just like the 73)over a year ago from a fellow back home in Sask. To say it was in perfect condition is an understatement; to run across something of this vintage in such excellent shape. Wasn't until I got it home to check the ser# that I realized what I had. The Ser# was: 310600001 (First off production line) Would anyone out there know what this machine could be worth? I also have a 73 440 Olympic and 74 TnT 340 FA that are also worth mentioning but they do not have the pedigree like the 74 Olympic. All three run like a top. Any feed back would be great; am also looking for a TnT Silverbullet.

Selling a 1973 Ski-doo Skandic 335. Starts after 2nd or 3rd pull from cold. Runs very well. New track 2 seasons ago well as new brakes. New belt end of last season, new tie rod ends (both) on right side as the same time. Gas tank is uncracked and unrepaired, no leaks that I know of. Seat is in good shape, recovered. Hood is in good shape, but not perfect; I've certainly seen worse. Belly pan is in very good shape, and the tunnel is in very good shape and solid. Still makes nice pulling power for bringing sleigh of cut wood out from the bush. The only reason I'm selling ti off is due to injuring my shoulder this summer; I need something with electric start.A nice sled, fun to ride trails on, great for two people with the adjustable backrest (has a rip that needs repair). Interesting, rare sled. I mentioned "rare", but I didn't say overpriced, as seems to accompany the term. Good solid 335. Recoil could use a tune-up. Pictures available. Ownership available.

(I have other Ski-doo stuff for sale as well, make me an offer for it all...a trade would be ideal).

Hey check it out I have aquired a 1973 Motoski Capri 340. It was parked inside after the winter of 1996. It turns over so anyone with a little talent could get this sled running. It does have a cracked hood (lower left side), the seat is torn but tape up, cushion may be worth saving.

Here is the deal...I like to ICE FISH. I have 2 1980 Scorpion Whips, 1
that runs great with a fresh,fresh rebuild new pistons rings, seals,
gaskets probably 40 miles on it since, hood and belly busted, great
track the other whip is in real good condition but motor is in pieces
but not shot(have new rings and stuff...enough to make it run with
work not sure if I have a new package of seals for it or not, I don't think I do) also have a box of misc whip
coils and other little goodies, and whatever some used boggies, suspension stuff.

I JUST bought a 72 Yamaha 643 GP and a MOTO ski 440 on ebay with a trailer!!!
I paid 585.00 for it I'm going to pick it up TONIGHT. Check out this
ebay ad, just copy and paste this number into the ebay site

snowmobile that will haul a portable shanty with me and my fat brother
in law sitting on it. I've probably got at least 1500 to 2000 or more...

I have a very nice Citation 300 twin for sale. The engine has been totally rebuilt with less then 30 hours, nice general condition. Seat has some cracks, track is orginal but no tears or problems. Not a snowmobiler,but I use the Fuji engines on ultralight planes. I know you guys can answer my questions. First, where can I buy a shop manual for the Fuji 488 engine? Can anyone tell me what size the Mikuni dual carbs are? Lastly, how can you tell when the motor was manufactured? Is this done by the serial numbers? Thanks in advance to all you knowledgeable guys who love your sport !!

Polaris 340 F/C from a 1974 Electra. Complete with dual mikunis, airbox, clutch, and pipe. 135 psi each side, strong spark, ran with fuel in cylinders. $125.00.

Spirit AE50A3 500 F/C from a 1979 Pantera. Complete with carb and exhaust. 145 psi each side, good spark, ran with fuel in cylinders. $150.00.

Hello everyone.

I am interested in finding a screw on exhaust flange (screws directly in the cylinder head) i have one bur require another pair. Looks like plumbing threads but they are not pipe thread.

Also looking for a clutch fot this engine, while disassembling the engine i used an arbor press to remove my clutch and i have broken it. I am either lloking for an original clutch or a Power-Blok.

Located in Quebec Canada (Noyan ) very close to the Vermont border.

I am trying to rebuild on for my father but i am going to need quite a few parts i suspect. I would like some ski's, cdi working, seat, and hood. I found 6 merc's in a wrecking yard and am have them striped and take the best of the best to build one. So i will find out in a couple of weeks more on what i need. P.S Also motor mounts. I will have the serial no# for the motor and tunnel as soon as i pick all the part up on sunday. Any help would be greatly appericated.Ryan

I have a 70 Nordic that I am parting out, hood and seat are shot, has a nice back rest though. Even managed to save the "Ski-Doo" emblems on the side of the hood. Engine was re-built but has been parted out(all parts are good). I also have some new take off parts for a 399. The rolling chassis can be had aswell, but the belly pan has a pretty good dent.

Blizzard came to me with no engine or pipes- seat is shot. Its pretty much just a rolling chassis, so if you need any drive line parts let me know. Belly pan is in pretty good shape too.
