Date Posted: 09:16:59 02/09/09 Mon I have a friend who just purchased a 1973 bombardier valmont 440. it has a tillotson HD 62a16 carb on it. he had some trouble keeping it idling, but seems to run fine when he drives at cruising speed. he has tried to tune the carb by tuning the screws in and out but says he cant find the sweet spot.I believe he said the low speed he has set at 2and a quarter turns, and the high speed set at one full turn.. now at this setting it seems to start nice, idle fine and cruise nice.. just wondering if anyone can tell me the actual settings suggested for the carb on this ole girl.and which screw is high, and which screw is low speed.. thanks in advance for your help [ Next Thread | Previous Thread | Next Message | Previous Message ] |
