Date Posted: 10:23:07 10/12/09 Mon I just got a 1972 Arctic Cat Puma 340. I am trying to get it running again. The engine turns over fine and seems to have good compression but it won't fire. I drained the gas tank and put fresh gas in. I even put a little fuel right in the cylinders but it didn't fire. I checked the plugs and I am getting spark on both of them but not a bright blue spark. Initially I was thinking perhaps the one of the coils, but both of the plugs have about the same spark. Can anyone tell me if this sled has to have a key in it to run? I can just put a screwdriver in the key hole and turn it but if it has to have a key this may be my problem. I'm just trying to figure out how to get a better spark. Any help you could offer me would be greatly appreciated. [ Next Thread | Previous Thread | Next Message | Previous Message ] |
