Date Posted: 18:28:12 12/11/09 Fri Newbie (kinda) here - the sled worked last year. It did quit when it was hot but that was after a few hours of running (or so my son told me). Now - ether sprayed into the carb - the engine will start but stop as soon as the ether is gone. Pour a bit of gas into the throat of the carb - same thing. Gas is being sucked from the tank - I left the return line off of the carb and gas squirted out as i pulled the engine over so I am fairly certain that gas is getting from the tank to the carb. So - I thought needle and seat - opened the carb up and inspected the gaskets, and pump section and needle and seat - all looked ok. Any ideas as to why no gas seems to want to get to the venturi's but does go into the return line back to the tank? Any help you can be is appreciated! Rick - the wannbe snowmobile fixer!
