Subject: Tex-Mex ramblings & ravings!

Just a note to say that you Fireballs were an early influence & inspiration on my guitar playing! Yes, I learned a lot of leads off your old instrumental albums. The 1st song I learned however was "Chief Whopping Cough" from a single.
An old friend of mine, Ted Barnhill invited me to record in
Clovis back in 1964. Recently, I have been trying to recover some of those 'lost recordings'. Mr. Broad is assisting all he can and I appreciate it. In the meantime I am writing about my early musical experiences around the Amarillo-Canyon-Clovis area at: www.60sgaragebands.com
