Obviously,there's still no stopping the 'war' that has erupted between multimedia star Regine Velasquez and on-the-rise singer, Faith Cuneta, the voice behind some lachrymose soap opera themes-despite the former's assertion that she's out there supportive of newcomers penetrating the local scene.It you recall, ostensibly this 'war' began when the entertainment press gleefully reported that Faith was greeted by the audience more lustily than they did Regine during a recent onstage face-off between the two-which,again supposedly ticked-off 'Asia's Songbird'.

Now, the entertainment press are again having a field day with Regine's recent public declaration in which she cited Kyla as the young singer she admires the most because the so called R&B princess has her own style of singing and doesn't merely xerox the stylistic predispositions of establish warblers.

Meaning?That Faith Cuneta is-to borrow from Cherie Gil--"nothing but a cheap,second rate,trying hard copycat?"

What is all this crap?

Its not about the artist, Regine fans.. Its the artist
manager, handler and most of all- ask who is the media
publicist! And in Faith Cuneta's case? It is BOY ABUNDA..

And about Regine mentioning Kyla when it was
Sarah Geronimo at first? Hmmm.. Well, as a fan
argument (from the fan point of view) that needs
to be looked into .. and will. There's a story
there that needs to be told.
