Explanation:
As of July 11, 2009, due to the lack of communication from the message board hosting company, concerning advertising and other concerns, I felt I have had no other option but to close THIS board and open another board. This board will remain up as an archive for the next three months.

Unfortunately, the software and coding for this type of message board is becoming obsolete and I could not find a board that was similar without having to pay very high monthly fees.

However if you have posted here before, you will find the guidelines remain the same EXCEPT:

To reply to posts you will have to register as a user. In this way, we can remove members who try to take advantage of those who post prayer requests and you are protected as well,

Guests will still be able to POST requests but will not be able to respond to posts. Guests will have to place their email address in the body of their prayer request if they wish to have an email response to their prayer request.

Registration is very simple and rRegistered users will be able to send private messages to other registered users, receive email notification if someone posts a prayer on their behalf on the board, etc. This is a plus:) Rwgistered users can also edit their own posts. All users will be able to send me users names in case people abuse their membership responsibilities

As always, your privacy and safety is of paramount importance and when you register, your email address will NEVER be used by I Lift My Eyes for any purpose beyond prayer and your email address will never be sold by I Lift My Eyes to any outside source.

Father God what a mighty love that you have for your children. Sometimes it overwhelms me to think of it. We do not have to earn it or be worthy of it, but it is there. Father I pray that Eric could just feel this great love in his spirit today. What a great healing that will bring for him. Suddenly no wound, hurt, or fear will have any hold on him. Surround him with people to love him and minister to him. Let them be people with your anointing that can open his spiritual eyes to you. What a great gift that will change his world. Father I praise your holiness and your majesty. Amen.

I am MeharPrakash,few days back I placed a prayer request regarding my MSC 2nd sem results. I Passed in all subjects and I got 1 distinction due to gods grace,please say thanks to lord Jesus because of my results and the help I got from him since my childhood. Recently I started my project work in my university,it is not going well,I am unable to do it in exact way,I got very few days left for my project, I am fully frightened. So can you please pray to lord Jesus that to help me in my project and get good grade for that because every time i am facing problem in one or other situvation. Lord i come in to your hands to help me save my relationship,my boyfriend had accepted that im pregnant but we dont see each other much and we staying in the same area.He asked me not to give up on him the other time i called him,and now he has this habit of lying to me which sometimes make me wonder if he realy cares about me.I realy want things to work between us, so im staying in prayer that the Lord would work things out according to his will. please pray for my son who is in prison.please pray for an early release, he has been in prison for 10 years, he was 17 when he went in. he was young and was involved in what they say was a drive by shooting in which someone got shot but was not a serious injury the person was released from the hospital the same day, also he had not been in trouble before, this was a new judge making a name for herself. I thank God for my son incarceration,because if he had continued down that same path he could have been dead, but i think it time for him to come home he has less than 3 yrs left and he is 27 years old now. i want him to find a wife and have children

I need prayer in the area of a mate. Recently, the Lord has allowed someone into my life, that I believe he is telling me is my wife. I really want things to work out between us, and so I am staying in prayer that the Lord would work things out according to his will. I�m not sure if she even knows, and I�m certainly not going to say anything or try to make things happen in my own power. Calvary greetings in Jesus name. The Lord has laid in my heart to raise an intercessory group in my area and this is what i love to do but do not know how to go about it.

Please pray that God will give me direction and raise women who also have the calling to interceed for the nations of the world.

I would need support in the area of intercessory materials if you do have. Also pray for my church, a lot of people are losing their jobs. Pray that God will open doors for them.

I am asking for prayers for my sister-in-law. Lately she seems to be speaking and not thinking and hurting my feelings. I have reached out to her and let her know this. My fiance is in a very hard situation with the law. He is innocent. Hes 20 and about a year ago he was talking bad about this one cop and the cop found out what my fiance was saying. He started accusing my fiance of false things and now my fiance has court tommorrow. Please pray that the judges will have clear minds and will see that my fiance is innocent.Pray that my fiance wont get any jail or prison time. Pray that my fiance\'s lawyer will win my fiance his freedom and will win this case for us and pray that the DA wont want to deal with this case anymore and that the worse they\'ll give my fiance is longer probation. I would ask if you could lift up your prayers for my Granny, Daphane Jenkins. A couple of weeks ago she had a pacemaker put in. Then a couple of days later she had a stroke. For the past week she had been in rehab progressing very good & then yesterday she had another stroke.
She's 86 years old & so full of life. Please lift up your prayers that God will heal her.

Please pray the salvation and deliverance for my friend and ex-girlfriend Nancy Quiroz. Please i beg you to pray that she would be set free from the power of darkness and sin and become a child of God, a child of light washed by the blood of Jesus. Pray that her sins be forgiven and that the Holy Spirit would come upon her and that she would be able to see our Lord Jesus and His love for her. Like MARK2:1-12 carry Nancy in your prayers and believe with a heart of expectancy with me that Jesus would heal her and forgive her for her sins. Believe with me in faith that the Lord will touch her life as we lift this unto the Great Physician. That the paralyzing grip of sin and the hold of the enemy would let her go and that by God's grace she would be able to walk because of the Lord and with the Lord. I love and care dearly for this girl so please intercede on her behalf with me that she too would enter into the kingdom of God. Just like the paralytic mans friends who brought him before Jesus, it was by their faith that he was healed, that's emphasised and stressed in the text above. So please, again carry Nancy with me to our Lord Jesus and by our faith she too will be made whole. I beg you brothers and sisters please pray this with me.. Please pray for my spouse Dan. He has serious drug and sexual addiction problems. I caught him having sex on webcan with men and women and saying he was bisexual. Dan is not saved even though I am. Dan also has rage issues and was chaged for assaulting me by the police. I have not seen dan since and that was a week ago. Dan never physically abused me before until he began a realtionship with his father who had been physically and mentally abusive to dan while he was growing up. Dan cut off all ties with his father until his mom died from cancer a few years ago. Dan has not dealt with his moms death and he has gone strange since he started a relationship with his father. Dans father sexually assaulted me on one of his visits to our house and instead of standing by me he stood by his abusive father which was very hurtful to me. Dan is now associating with crimanals and has become involved in the drug trade with them and thinks these people are his friends. I am heartsick over all this and I ask that you pray fro dan to be saved and for deliverance for him. I know only God can help in this situation. Dan is alos being manipulated by his father at this time and the father seems to have demonic stronghold over Dan. Please keep us in your prayers.

My Girlfriend and I have been together for over 6 years. She wants to leave the relationship due to all of my controlling behavior and the fact that she feels she is no longer herself. She has built up so much resentment and anger, she now feels she is happier without me. I love her very much and this is the same pattern of behavior I have had in my previous relationships. Please pray for the Lord to heal and comfort my girlfriend and rid her of anger and hurt. Please pray for me that I rid myself of fearful thoughts and worries. I was in a book store recently and opened a bible and found a small flyer, at first i thought it was just maybe a church tract or something but i realized it was something very bad, It was a warning note to people who might be looking at the bible that christians are violent, hate filled, racist and many other terrible things.It also claimed the book was entirely fictitious. It had a web address at the bottom so i looked it up and it was actually a band from california called Ana Kefr and found them to be extremely anti religious and also read they have been putting hundreds of these flyers in book stores all over southern california and have others doing it in many other states. I want everyone to pray that these people find truth with god.

Jennifer has been diagnosed with cancer in her chest.
She is 33 weeks pregnant.
She will be induced tomorrow night ( Monday)
Her Chemo will begin shortly after.
They are planning to operate on her at City General in 3 months after 3 sessions of Chemo are completed.
She is currently at Mount Sinai.

We broke up a few months ago because of third parties (he's had more than one even when we were still together). Despite everything that he's done, my love for him hasn�t changed. I still forgave him and accepted him. I still see him as a good person because this is how I knew him several years ago when I met him, & I believe that God can change people. A lot of people have been telling me that he is no good for me and that I deserve someone much better than him but deep in my heart I know that God can fix what has gone wrong in our relationship & that He can give us another chance, just as He gives infinite chances to sinners. I love him with all of me & I want to be there for him, & help him with his struggles in life. I want him to know that despite his weaknesses there is someone who�s willing to accept him, love him & help him change. People may not understand the kind of love I have for him but I know God has a purpose why I love him this much. I know that I was the love of his life, in the same way that he is the love of my life. Pls help pray that he will realize his mistakes & that he will have the desire to change for the better, & to be devoted to only one girl. Just recently, I was pushed by a common friend to talk to his current GF... that recent GF became his GF even during those times we were still together. I didnt want to do it because i really love my ex and i dont want people to see him in a bad light and i dont want him to get mad at me or think that im trying to ruin his reputation but i also pitied the girl for not knowing about me and aris and that there had been other parties involved, and for knowing that his girl had been feeling so confused about their present relationship. it was a very difficult struggle for me. It was painful for me too to find out about that girl and that he tried to court other girls while i was still in a relationship with him. i sacrificed so much for the relationship and i showered him with love until the end. i thought it was still possible for me and aris to be together again because we would meet from time to time and he would always say he just needs to fix himself first but after i talked to the girl he got upset with me and no longer wanted to talk to me. Please pray that Aris would see me in a new light, & that he would realize that everything that I did was done out of love for him. Im hoping that he would remember the good in me, the wonderful times we�ve had together, & Im wishing that God would bring him back into my life again. Pls help me pray that he will realize that he loves me, & that he will have the strength, wisdom, and enlightenment to come back to me. I know that I've had my share of shortcomings too in the relationship like being possessive & nagging at times, but all that I am asking/ praying for is one more chance, one last chance for me & aris to be back together again as a couple. I am going through a very rough time right now. My spouse was charged for assault against me. Dan has serious drug problems and once he started a relationship again with his father whom he had cut off before, Dans father was mentally and physically abusive to him and once his relationship started with his father he started being violent with me. Dan has serious drug and sex addictions as well and is not saved even though I am. Please pray for a miracle here with Dan that God will save him and pull him out of this mess in his life. I am a 43 year old widow named J. I was married for nearly 20 years to a bipolar/ alcoholic who was addicted to pills. I loved my husband dearly, but I just could not get through to him no matter how hard I tried We have two beautiful children. I had waited for many years to have the courage to leave my husband and seek a divorce. After I finally left, my husband committed suicide before our divorce was final. During the last 4 years, I became friends with a man named G. As we got to know each other better, my feelings for him grew as did his for me. We discovered that we have many, many things in common. I pray for wisdom and guidance as I seek the face of The Lord as to how to proceed in this relationship. I pray for peace in Gs heart with his own circumstances as he has been very wounded in past relationships as well. Also with his son as G desires him to come and live with him G and I seem so good for each other, he his kind, funny, intelligent and clean and sober, and I desire a Godly relationship with him, not marriage at this time though. I confess that I have fallen in love with him. I know that in a world of turmoil this seems so trivial, but I appreciate your prayers in this matter as well as praying for my children ages 19 and 14 who have lost their father. My heart breaks for them everyday.

Pray for my husband. He is meeting a friend this morning to discuss volunteering to gain experience and certification for addiction counseling. He was laid off 3 wks ago; 2 wks after I was. He can draw unemployment and work on his education. Pray for God to give him self confidence and for him to know he can do it. Pray he isn't worried or nervous and that he is glad he dressed very professional. He didn't want to spend the money; but I insisted on him looking proper. I interviewed this week and was offered a great job. I am waiting for Myra to call me and give me my starting date and a letter of employment. Please pray for my friend NANCY B. who is, at this time, in ICU. She tried to kill herself yesterday and is in INTENSIVE CARE where she is not responding. She has severe Mental Illness which has gotten progressively worse over the last year. She refuses to take her medication and has destroyed herself further including physically. She has had this illness since she was a young girl, but apparently it never surfaced until about 15 years or so ago. She also suffers from bulemia/anorexia. She has a son, Christopher, who now has the burden of placing her in in a mental institution should she survive this last suicide attempt. Please prayn for him as well. Thank you for your prayers. My husband was recently in a horrible car accident. He came away from it seemingly unscathed! Halelujah! However, he has now 'changed his mind' about wanting to be married. He has been very cruel to me and emotionally abusive. This is not the man I know and love. he wants a seperation...maybe even a divorce. I have found a place to stay for about a week but that's all. I don't know what to do anymore. I keep begging him to not forget the covenant he made with me before God, but he seems so distant in his eyes, so aloof. I have encouraged him to see his doctor about getting a head scan/seeing a psychiatrist/getting help. He has an appointment but his doctor is so laid back that I don't think she will see what I see. I have him on several prayer chains, and I am praying my heart out every minute of every day it seems. We have an 11 month old son. I don't want to be a single mom!!! This wasn't how it was supposed to turn out...please pray for us. Thank you so much,

Please pray for Rene from Chicago IL. He has terminal cancer. Doctors say he has 2 weeks to 1 month to live. He has 2 kids (10 and 12). I don't think their mother is around. I am a catechist and a lay minister in my church. My wife operates a School Canteen and I am also helping her in the business which is our sole source of steady income.

However we have been under a lot of pressure from some quarters who would do anything to to see us lose the business and have it awarded to their friends or relatives.

I need prayers to protect us from all the attacks that we have been facing.

The state of my family's finance is also not very healthy, and I would ask for prayers for God's assistance to help us recover from this difficult situation. I have been praying for an alternative source of income to feed my family and I look up to God to guide me favourably.

God has been so good to me. I have faith that He will lead me down the best path for my life.

I have a court date coming up that will determine whether or not I go to prison for a crime I very stupidly committed. I know I am guilty but I have a clean record and it is a paper crime that, again, was more of a stupid mistake than anything. I pray that I can stay with my children and not in prison and if I have to go that my family will not fall apart. I also pray for Gods forgiveness and for the forgiveness of the people I hurt. This was not my intention. I was just not myself.

My name is Aaron i am a 26 year old father and husband, i grew up in southern california and was a partaker in gangs and everything in that nature I thought I have seen it all and have been through it as well. I never new what life was until it was taken from me and returned through a gift of grace so beautiful is the mercy of Christ. through Christ i have gain so much and with that gain i have forgotten what i have been brought out of. i droped out of high school and went to work to support my children like many people today. i was bless i went back to school and graduated at the top of my class as a medical professional and i love it... i real love helping people and giving the gift of life with my hands through Christ, with this blessing i pushed God and my family aside and put my mind on money, a evil that took my life. everything was pushed aside. now i sit in a hotel room six days out of the week alone, scared and hurting. i grew so distant with my wife that she looked for comfort in the arms of another man and i can understand i am not a husband any more she went as far as to have me thrown in jail and made her own truth out of hurt which i understand to, now my professional licence is going to be revoked and the means to provide for my family is gone and my will to go on as well. i keep telling my self how hard i worked to provide a home and everthing that goes with it, is now going to be gone because how hard i worked to destroy what was given to me. i go to court next month to find out my familys fate. even though my wife and i has seaked marriage help and have rededicated our lifes and our home to God that motions she had set forward is now out of our hands. right now i remain in the hotel room in tears, scared, lonely and helpless the same kind of feeling when the Lord found me in the street left for dead so long ago, i truly am that humbled man again and need a maricial again please pray for us... please i am at my end.. i love you all... my heart is lying on the ground please lord help us.

This is a prayer request for my sister in law Jackie Janson. She has been part of my family through many decades. My oldest brother and Jackie have been a constant example in the face of much adversity of faith, fidelity and self sacrifice. They have been involved in ministry to other couples for at least 20 years.
Early leaders in the Marriage Encounter Retreats and more recently Retro vi (last hope ministry to failing marriages) their ability to take their own pain and turn it into something to encourage others has been unbelievable, and constant.
Jackie is scheduled for surgery July 8th. The procedure has only been done in the US a couple of times. It is very intrusive and involved. If successful Jackie will be around for many years.

My 15 year old niece Autumn had surgery to correct her scoliosis today. She is in alot of pain and has a long recovery... Please pray her recovery is swift and as pain free as possible. She is in PICU at Oschner in New Orleans. Our Great Physician our Lord CAN do anything. She did not look good after surgery today, but I believe she can be out of the hospital in 5 days. My son has been diagnosed with Tourettes Syndrome. He is only 8 and has recently started showing signs of facial tics. He now has a motor tic where he bobs his head forward. Several years ago I was hit while riding my bicycle. I learned later that the man's former wife had died an accidentaly death a few years before, and right after this accident his son cut off part of his foot with a lawn mower, and then weeks later his son was killed in an auto accident.
I am still having problem with the left leg, even though there was no breakage. But I do sense a strong heaviness in it. I don't know if it is a 'death' energy, or just the remains of the trauma of the accident itself.
I am asking for deiverance prayer for my left leg and knee, and anything, or anywhere else that has been effected by the accident. Also the person who hit me was my next door neighbor at the time, which could also have placed some negative energies on me and my family as well.

Please pray for me, I feel very alone, even in the middle of the church. I lived alone for the last 10 years, far away from my parents and my brothers. Being single shouldn't be much of an issue if I found a good church where I could feel I belong to. I feel very alone, I'm attending a church from a couple of years now, but people seem so focused on their own lives, their families, I feel like single people don't count as much as the ones that already have a family. As a single person who doesn't have a family close is very hard, I feel very discouraged because I think the church should be a place where you feel as a member of a big family. I have asked the Lord for a life partner according to His will but it seems nothing is working out in this area of my life. I am 42 y.o. and I have been waiting faithfully for a good husband, I kept myself for my husband only, but in three relationships where I thought I found a right person for me, I ended up being rejected and in each case, the guys chose other woman over me. I need strength to go over my loneliness and I am asking for the favour and the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ.

My wife and I have been married for 1 year, separated for going on three months. I have made alot of mistakes in our first year and did not walk according to God's word. Yet I love the Lord. I confessed my sins to Him, to my pastor and to the men in my support group. And have repented from my ways. I believe that his grace is sufficient for me and have asked Him for a heart change and He is doing His work. If I miss just 1 dose of antibiotics, my leg pain gets near screaming / torture level.( I'm almost always on pill antibiotics to prevent reoccurrence of my facial bone infection.) I'm in so much pain & that even all my prescribed narcotic painkillers medicines can barely control it. I can't sleep & even get nauseous from this leg pain. I have been to the dmv office twice to get my license but left with a license denial. I have scheduled an appointment to go back to the dmv for the third time. I feel sad and depressed and have not had rest ever since thinking how am going to be a laughing stock in the eyes of my family.I ask that you kindly pray for the favor of the Lord to go with me and perfect my imperfections in the sight of the dmv officer.

Please pray that one day i will have a family i always wished for; please pray for life full of joy, happiness and prosperity. My eleven year old son has auto-immune disorder health problems - alopecia and hashimoto's thyroid disease. As his parents we are trying to treat the cause and not just the symptoms and thus are delaying thyroid treatment for 4-6 weeks to see if vitamins/minerals can calm down this auto-immune response that we believe was brought on by a drug allergy. Please pray for wisdom for us, his parents, in seeking and deciding upon treatment options and pray for healing to his body. In His name we ask, Lisa

Please pray for my son and his family. They have recently split up. Financial stress is a contributing factor. They both need to learn communication and coping skills and have spoken of going to a counselor. She is now living with her parents who don't support the union even though she has turned her life around(very self destrucive/suicidal before)as a result of their relationship. They argue a lot but I believe they still love each other. Please pray they will follow through with the counseling and that God will reveal love to them all in a new and miraculous way. I'm getting married in less than a month.
My fiance is not yet moved to my state.
We have so many unsaved family members and friends coming to the wedding.
I feel like I'm in a total backsliden state.
I feel like I'm losing my mind, salvation and all the above.
I love the man I'm marrying but I have no hope in our future.
I have lost my peace and hope.
I believe it's because of my sin of pride and arrogance. Please pray for me and Randy.
Randy lives in PA and will lose his house in 5 days if he doesn't get his water turned on.

Please pray for me (melissa age 20), my boyfriend (sergio age 20), and his friend (jordan age 20). We have recently gotten into some trouble with the law and we need all the help we can get. This year has been extremely difficult for me with the loss of my brother, which took me by suprise (24 years old) and my grandpa who had cancer. I feel I'm not sure I can take any more loss. The church that I pastor (Greenwood Covenant Church) in Alabama, is in need of Strong Protracted prayer for Spiritual Awakening. The church is not going through any great crises, but it is slowly dying, and people think things are fine. I've been here a year and 6 Mo. and no one has been saved. Iv'e not gone this long anywhere that this has happened. No matter how great the annointing, or how solid the teaching, the spiritual interest dies within a couple of days. We need intercessors.

please i ask that you take and keep these words among your thoughts as you come before the Lord God during whichever part of the day that you set aside for prayer, as my life is very in need of some help from the Hand of God the Most High. The deepest and most sincere, soul-felt prayer of my heart, need of my entire being is that the Lord will stir the heart of my dear and beloved wife and speak to her that she conceive my child and be the mother of my child, that she may bear me offspring through the joining of our God-given gifts of life-bringing cells and life-forming chemicals that are the chief participant in the blessed act of procreation that occurs between a man and a woman. I can only figure to put this deep and long-felt wish of my heart into the hands of the Lord God Himself and also my wife merely quietly hoping that some sort of miraculous new joy may appear in my life where hence there has been only despair and listlessness although no blame belongs before the spirit and soul of my lovely lady, the woman whom i want to feel fortunate enough to be able to call the mother of my son or daughter. I am adding this prayer and search for prayer help from the followers of Christ because quiet sadness fills me as i want so ardently to be a father, to be a dad, to know that God has smiled upon me and blessed my life through causing my seed to bear fruit, instead of being a childless, sonless(daughterless) lost soul wandering upon the earth. thank you for your prayers.
