where do I even start? My father has been an alcoholic as long as I can remember he may not be the abusive type, but emotionally he has been incredibly absent. As he has gotten older, his body has suffered from all the years of abuse. He had a stroke about 2 years ago and is now partially handicapped, however still in this condition he can not find it within himself to stop drinking. There is a giant rift between he and my mother, who is still with him. She wants considers them separated however, they are still living in the same house because it has not sold yet. I am his daughter, and I am a christian, and I seek the lord daily. It seems as if my prayers have not really made a difference and my talks with him have especially not made a difference. He is killing himself, and there is nothing we can do about it. I need direction in ways of prayer for the family, and my father needs a miracle. Please pray for this situation it seems incredibly hopeless, but I still have some hope in my God. thank you.
