Sports in this town is strictly all male. Women's sports are rarely discussed or followed, and often ridiculed by the white male pundits on our airwaves. Remember Imus's insults about the black women's basketball team?

Hathorn's discussion about a double standard was interesting. Connors and McEnroe always made scenes, but I don't think they went as far as Serena. She used the "f" word and threatened to shove a tennis ball down that poor woman's throat. At her press conference afterwards, she refused to apologize or even acknowledge that she did anything wrong.

I don't know how her sponsors can associate with her until she apologizes. She sells crap on HSN; people should boycott her products, imo.
