I agree, Jeff is a good sportscaster on local sports. I think Pratte makes a lot of mistakes on scores, stats, etc. but he's better on talking major sports outside of the Pittsburgh area.
However, he wasn't on Pintek's show to talk local sports. He was there to talk about the US Open which I believe was not played at North Park and there were no Pittsburgh players in it. So he was there as an authority on a major sport (tennis) and we was asked a question about another major sport (golf).
And unlike you, I COULDN'T CARE LESS about women's golf.
