Based on what one hears on the air, Fred is starting to remind me of Hoerth in the sense that as much as he would deny it, he's just becoming an aging, sour and more than slightly bitter gasbag raging against a world he neither understands nor cares to TRY to understand. If he tried to understand it, his criticisms would be a lot fresher and less sour.

Now, if that seems like it's nothing new, note my addition of the word "aging."
