Honz's day came and went many years ago.
Who knows why KD keeps him; perhaps nostalgia, perhaps he's blackmailing the station owner.
Fred, Pratte, and Pintek are signs that KD prefers to live on past glory; they haven't done anything worth noting in ages.
Apparently KD's listeners prefer living in the past.
