Thanks for the added info. It is really terrible that a Syrian teen was beaten and got a concussion in this incident. I once had to break-up a girl fight at my church carnival, and it was serious business. They were wailing on each other pretty good.

But....is it NEWS? That was my point. Incidents like this go on in high-schools across the country all the time. Is it really worthy of air time, and might it not be exacerbating the problem by encouraging other high-school punks to seek the same attention?
