A&E and MLP may be waiting to release season 4 until they can sell the current season 3 for the highest price and make their return profits. This is what they did with season 2. They issued that in August 2005 and waited until March 2006 to issue season 3. They're pressing so many DVD sets now, they want to sell as many units and cash in. They have to make their return profits they've put out. Just a pattern I noticed.

I don't have any release date for season four. If it's this year, it would be between October and November. It not, spring 2007. We'll find out. Not to worry, the entire series is being out on on DVD. That's a promise from Michael Landon Production's CEO, Dennis Korn.
