Nagparating ng feelers ang kampo ni Regine sa ABS-CBN pero hindi ito kinagat ng Dos. Hindi nag-renew ng kontrata si Regine sa GMA 7. Hindi na rin siya makikita sa mga existing programs niya. Tatapusin na rin niya ang kanyang soap opera dahil hindi na rin ito nagri-rate. "No, walang plano ang ABS-CBN na kunin siya," sabi ng source ko. "Naka-focus ang management sa pag-develop ng mga fresh at homegrown talents. Saan naman siya ilalagay kung kukunin siya?" dagdag pa ng source ko. Ayon sa nakarating sa aming impormasyon, magku-concentrate si Regine sa shows abroad. Halos buong taon ng 2005 ay nasa abroad siya for a series of shows. Makakasama niya sa nasabing series of shows si Pops Fernandez. At dahil shows abroad ang pagkakaabalahan ni Regine, humingi ng suporta ang kampo nito sa ABS-CBN. Gusto ni Regine na ma-promote ng maganda ang mga shows niya, kailangan niyang mag-promote sa ABS-CBN para sa The Filipino Channel. Lahat pala ng shows ni Regine abroad ay pawang mga bansa kung saan may TFC ng ABS-CBN. Huwag na kayong magtaka kung maging visible si Regine sa mga musical, variety at at talk shows ng ABS-CBN. Kung sa GMA 7 nga naman siya magpu-promote, balewala din dahil hindi naman napapanood ang mga programa ng Siete sa mga bansa kung saan maraming Pinoy. Fellow Reginians, I just wanna make comment on the recent post concerning the "has been" channel abs-cbn 2 that Eric John Salut wrote in Pilipino Star Ngayon. Don't ever believe in this writer because he always writes BIG LIES about Regine and other Kapuso Stars. Remember when he wrote something against our Songbird that even implicated Mel Del Rosario saying that Regine always claims some concepts that Mel did. Fellow Reginian Mel immediately denied this, and she even said that she never quoted such during her interview with this writer. There was also an article that this LIAR wrote saying Jolina would be moving back to abs-cbn, which Jolina quickly refuted. I have always said that this writer is a mercenary "BAYARAN", and should not be trusted by anyone. Regine has no intention of moving to abs-cbn. She owes a lot to GMA7, and i do believe she herself knows that she's treated like a QUEEN in the number 1 station, GMA7. To Eric John Salut: SHUT UP! Una sa lahat, Regine never had a contract with GMA-7. So what is there to renew? The only contract that she has with them is for her soap FIMH which she made clear na one season lang talaga ang gusto nya. What she has with GMA 7 is basically an agreement that she can cancel out at any time she wants. That's how priveliged she is. Pangalawa, Regine does sold-out concerts here in the States. Di nya kailangan ang TFC. Piolo & Ai-ai, who are both regularly seen on TFC, had a show sa Palladium here in LA recently, 40% puno lang, and to think mga 2,000 seater lang 'to. While Regine and Ogie had a sold-out concert here sa Grand Olympic stadium, both GMA artists, and that stadium holds 7,000 seats. Maybe ABS needs to put up more channels para mapansin ang talents nila. And for the writer's info, GMA is launching na their own filipino channel here in the west-coast in July.
