The concert starts at 8 so I had 30 minoots to have din-dins. Spotted KFC and quickly bought and consumed my dinner. When I entered Araneta Coliseum at 8, the place wasn't full yet. 'twas about 60% full. Got worried a bit but still it's too early. There's a huge video screen in the middle of the two-tier stage. The teevee sets that serve as the artists lyrics board were covered in white cloth. In fact, the whole stage was done in white. Kinda reminds you of the Ice Queen kingdom in Narnia. There's a small bridge on the right side near my area. (many thanks to an attendant who helped me easily work things out in the airport, i was able to make it to Araneta on time). as usual, the venue was packed. hats off to whoever designed the stage. it was great. the choice of white was a wise one. obviously it was intended to make the colorful characters in the stage stand out. the choreography was nice. kudos to the hotlegs. the over-all stage production rivals that of some western stage productions. as usual, it was a superb concert. however, i noticed that the exchanges of sexy and "juicy" lines of mr. rico puno and ms. ai-ai de las alas were frowned upon by some parents who were seated near me with their kids. maybe they were not expecting jokes and scenes of such extent (like for example the scene where ms. ai-ai was on the lap of mr. rico puno and grinding her butt on him) well, for mature viewers, it was okay. the organizers may not have expected that some parents would bring their kids to the concert. ----------- > Boobs ni Regine, Pinag-Initan ni Rico ni Nitz Miralles Sulit ang ibinayad ng mga nanood sa first night ng Forever After concert nina Regine Velasquez at Ogie Alcasid last February 10. Maganda ang kabuuan nito mula sa repertoire, design ng stage, direction ni Rowell Santiago at performances ng dalawa plus Ai-Ai de las Alas at Rico Puno, although malaswa pa rin ang huli. Hindi nagtipid sa production cost at si Ai-Ai nga, three gowns ang ginamit. Sagana rin sa harness ang Hotlegs dancers at kahit si Regine, isang beses na-harness at ang ganda ng effect na nasa ere. Puro sexy ang costumes ng singer-actress at litaw ang cleavage that prompted Rico to quip na "Ang laki ng suso mo," na ikinatawa nito't tinakpan tuloy ng wig ang cleavage. Halata ring asiwa ito sa mga joke ni Rico tungkol sa kanila ni Ogie't bukod sa nasa audience ang parents niya'y marami ring batang nanood. As usual, riot si Ai Ai, kaloka ang babaeng ito't 'di nauubusan ng gimik. Natawa kami sa binanggit nitong masaya siya't kasama siya sa video. "Hindi na ako deleted," wika nito. Ibig sabihin, hindi na aalisin ang parte niya sa T.V. coverage ng concert 'pag ipinalabas sa GMA-7. Sa concert kasi ni Regine sa Aliw Theater last year, tsinugi ng Siyete ang parte niya. Kuwela ang number nina Regine at Ai Ai ng Total Eclipse of the Heart at dito sumakit ang tiyan namin sa katatawa. Tinanong ni Regine kung Kapuso na si Ai Ai? "Ayoko munang magsalita't crucial time ngayon. Basta, masaya ako na kasama ako sa video," sagot nito. Another Regine fan makes a review Dear Jun, The concert last night was okay. The set, the songs, the costume and, of course, the 2 major artists (Regine and Ogie). Ai-Ai as usual was funny but not anymore when she was with Rico Puno. I'm not going to elaborate on the above. What I will share with you is my disgust and disappointment because of Rico's "kabastusan." The entertainment industry calls him "The Total Entertainer." What for? Dahil sa kabastusan niya? Where did they base his total entertainer title? Sa kabastusan pa rin niya? This guy is "too bastos" that I want him out of the stage when I heard him started talking non-sense last night. Naubos ang oras (9pm na nag-start tapos inagaw pa ni Rico ang ibang oras) sa walang kwenta niyang "kabastusan." If that was part of the script (and not an ad lib on this guy's part), lalong nakakainis! If he's sexually active or sobrang bastos niya, I believe, he should do that in the privacy of his room or with friends but not in a concert. Ang TV, movies and some print media ay halos wala ng mai-offer na quality entertainment. Pati ba naman sa concert, na pinagkakagastusan at dinadayo ng mga tao dahil andun si Regine, e gagamitin pa sa walang kwentang (rubbish, basura) pagpapatawa ni Rico J. Puno? Kainis! To Regine, you're made; you're established and for Pete's sake, you're freakin' Regine! Kung nasa script ang mga kabastusang pinagsasabi sa 'yo ni Rico, i don't understand why did you accept such a rubbish script. You don't need this bastos guy in your concert. Mas maganda pa ang concert mo kung ikaw lang mag-isa - simpleng stage design, good selection of songs, regal gowns for your stature. Ikaw ang pinuntahan namin sa concert - to hear you sing with your heart; to see you in those lovely gowns and share with us some of your antics. Kagabi, bastusan na. Kailangan pa bang sabihin ni Rico na "ang laki ng suso mo." Kailangan pa ba niyang sabihin na "kung ayaw mo, ako na lang titira diyan." Is that part of the script? Ad lib? I think (as I said, "I think"), this kabastusan of Rico is one reason why people started leaving while you and Ogie were still singing your lasat few songs. Ang daming lumalabas. Ang pangit tingnan dahil first time kong nakapanood ng concert na hindi pa totally tapos e lumalabas na ang mga tao (or gabi na dahil almost 12 mn na? I doubt) - hindi paisa-isa kundi ang dami. Lalo na sa baba. Were they offended by Rico's rubbish talks? I think so or I may be wrong. I went there to hear you sing not to hear this guy's walang kwentang pinagsasabi. He's too much. He's too bastos and shouldn't be in a concert with Asia's Songbird who is respected in the industry. I'm no genius nor dumb. I always look for excellent performance when I watch your concert and I do get that. I'm satisfied but last night while hearing Rico Puno, I asked myself, "anong ginagawa nito dito?" Hindi siya dapat kasama e." Rico Puno ruined the night. And i'm disgusted by his presence and hearing his rubbish talks. WALANG KWENTA talaga!
