Black Eyed Peas’ apl.d.ap seeks Pinoy talents

Here's one pinoy music artist Boy Agenda wasn't able
to stop from succeeding in the U.S. music scene. I'm
very proud about him too. He's from the same hometown.
And alot of the same music people. Now he wants to
do good for our music artists. Watch out for this
group, music fans.. And watch over him. His success
is ours. Don't let people who stopped Regine from
reaching success internationally try to mess with
this true pinoy music success story. Though it looks
like his supporters are not the kind one would mess
with. With Boy Agenda you never know.. You just know
that in the end the world will get to know about our
music artists one way or the other. And the reign of
terror by the artist detractor against our music
artists and the music industry will finally come
to a timely end. Then we can all be proud again.

MANILA --- Filipino American Allan Pineda, better known as apl.d.ap,
of the hip-hop group “Black Eyed Peas” is back in the country -- this
time, not to promote a single, but to look for Filipino talents who
would like to follow in his footsteps.

Apl.d.ap said that he recently put up his own recording company,
which he calls “Jeepney Music.”

With the outfit, the popular hip hop artist said he would like to
build up the careers of talented Filipinos. “Maraming magaling na
Pilipino, sayang naman, they should be heard,” he said.

He said he would also like to promote Filipino music, though he
stressed that his recording unit will also carry other music.

The musician, who grew up in Pampanga before successfully fulfilling
his dreams in the United States, said it is time to share the fruits
of his labor.

He is considered as one of the most successful Filipinos to have
penetrated Hollywood and the international market. His group has had
series of hit songs and currently has four Grammy nominations
including the “Best Pop Vocal Performance by a Duo or Group.”

But for apl.d.ap, success is not about hits but being able to share
to the world one’s gifts. (MNS)

Sounds like the kind of pinoy music artist talking the
kind of things we all been hoping to hear about. He is
talking like a male Regine Velasquez. From the heart
I mean. This is the kind of thing I believe Regine
would have been into if she wasn't stopped from
doing it several times with Sony, Arista and
even with the Legrand project. But she was not
the only artist having that kind of problem.

But an artist did get through those stopping them.
And like Lea Salonga came from the same hometown
area. Must be something in the water.. Besides
lahar, I mean. lol..

;-}
