Ogie Alcasid is Aliw 2006 Entertainer of the Year.. again

NOTE: Did Ogie deserve to win the award again? Or this
time? It does seem so. But still you can't help but
wonder if this wasn't someone's way of pay back to
Ogie/Ogie's handlers for their somewhat cooperation
with the promoting of those false rumors about Ogie
and Regine Velasquez. While its possible that Ogie
could be clueless about the origins and reasons
for the constant pushing of the false rumors into
the showbiz and entertainment media. The same just
cannot be said about Ogie's manager. He knew..
( Poor mgr Leo. He was probably fooled into it. )

Congratulations to singer-songwriter Ogie Alcasid for emerging the
2006 Aliw Awards' "Entertainer of the Year." The 19th Annual Aliw
Awards Night, which coincided with the Aliw Foundation's 30th year,
was held recently at the Manila Hotel.
Ogie, however, wasn't around to receive his award; he was in
Australia for the birthday of one of his and Michelle van Eimeren's
daughters. (His trip to Australia should dispel persistent rumors
that Ogie and Michelle are already separated or planning to file for
annulment of their marriage.)
Anyway, among the other winners of the 2006 Aliw Awards were:
Bamboo, Most Promising Entertainer (the second highest award); Ramon
Magsaysay High School Chorale, Best Chorale Group; Mayk Kamid, Best
Instrumental Artist; Ramon Acoymo, Best Classical Performance
(Male); Alegria Ferrer, Best Classical Performance (Female); Mario
O'Hara, Best Stage Actor (Non-Musical Play), Noni Buencamino, Best
Stage Actor (Musical), Irma Adlawan, Best Stage Actress (Non-
Musical), Eula Valdez, Best Stage Actress (Musical); Sam Milby, Best
New Artist, Male; Reema Lucida, Best New Artist, Female; Miguel
Aguila, Best Child Performer; G.B. Sampedro, Best Concert Stage
Director; Louie Ocampo, Best Musical Director; Cecile Guidote
Alvarez, Best Stage Director, Musical; Tony Espejo, Best Director,
NonMusical; Pooh, Best Stand-Up Comedy Act, Male; K Brosas, Best

THAT THE RUMORS ABOUT HIS MARRIAGE AND REGINE
AREN'T TRUE.
SHAME ON RICKY LO. WHO A FEW DAYS AFTER OGIE'S
STATEMENTS POSTED ANOTHER FALSE STORY ABOUT
OGIE'S MARRIAGE. This is not showbiz. This
is in fact proof that they are doing these
things against artists like Ogie and Regine
on purpose.
