Here is some of the story so you'll know- Regine's first official web site was made in the late 90's. It was not updated nor was it being maintained. And that site is believed to have been financed by her ex-management. Reg's 2nd official site was going to be made and maintained by Storm. The webber who was married to Alice Dixson was doing the Pops Fernandez Official site at the time. But he got passed over. And Yushy the webber of RegineTV got the gig to be the official webber and do an official web site. Though RegineVelasquez@net came out and got the support of Regine's sisters and music cronies more. RegineConcert@com was made and was called the official concert site under sponsorship of Regine's hero U.S.lawyer's business office. The webber is the same as RegineVelasquez@net No one knows what happened with all those sites and why they haven't been updated or if they were still being supported by Reg's camp. But the next official Regine web site that came out had this URL - RegineVelasquez.com.ph The webber said he does not have the kind of time to keep it constantly updated. And he's right. Regine is one artist so full of activities that any webber has a tough time keeping up with all the updates. I don't bother with some things anymore. I let the other fan sites handle it. Boy Abunda was trying somehow to control the way Regine fan information was going around. Because we are posting stuff I know has been keeping him up late at night. But serves him right for messing with the wrong artist. Now its a can of worms. And we are seeing the same things he's been doing with other artists as well. He was trying to use the new official web site to control information and influence some outcomes with the way Regine fans think. But the net is not like THE BUZZ on TV. And so he failed. I had more years experience on-line. More importantly I got alot of sharp thinking Regine fans backing me up for the benefit of the artist. Yeah. The people who handled the hosting of the site also had Pops Fernandez, Martin Nievera and Ogie Alcasid official web sites. Its clear that Abunda visits the Music Inside Buzz regularly and most probably even this forum. It did look like he was trying to undermine what is being posted in our sites and forums about those artists because most of it concerns what is involvement with them has been. And it hasn't been too nice and proper. There was also going to be a music site to counter the Music Inside Buzz. But so far it has not happened. And I'll tell you why.. because it takes more than money and a darn good fancy web maker to beat a web site that is only about the truths of showbiz. You can throw all the fancy bells and colors you want but content is still king. And it seems there is no shortage of the truth. ;-) The Web Host folks- I saw what brought these moves by Abunda about. He had an article done with the people who were hosting an web area and got Martin Nievera as a client. They did his official web site. Boy certainly got a way of using people for her own agenda because he then got them to do the official sites for the artists everyone knows I'm associating myself with (meaning watching and protecting while posting and updating for their fans) I saw it coming a mile away. But fans seem to miss putting things together. It was a good time to witness how he does things. And how he gets others to do it for him. Now they are all gone. No use paying for sites that aren't being updated. Right now it looks like Abunda is using some of the members of Aria Productions to do things that he probably wanted done. He is influencing the management of the Song Bird, Regine fans.. The same way he tried to influence the web sites I was handling. Those actions show the background personality he has. He is into doing alot of things he doesn't want people to know about. He is one bad boy. Not at all like the modest character he is trying to protect in front of us. There shld be only ONE official site and having several sites w/ all diff names w/c are not updated is PATHETIC & MORONIC. Look at the other artists like Mariah, Celine etc. Kung baga sa statement of the artist, there shld only be ONE official statement. From the stand point that an official webber should be getting paid for the work he does. Hence, keeping the site up to date is expected from fans. But in RegineLand on the net it has always been a totally different kind of situation. The three official web sites I mentioned in the earlier posts were made and maintained by people known to be Regine fans and were/ are still members of the various Regine fan yahoo groups. And they did their web sites as a labor of love and weren't being paid for it. As far as we can tell.. The official Regine Concerts site was never updated after that one summer concert season it was active. A good guess would be because the U.S. lawyer office who sponsored the concerts wasn't being the(only) one producing her shows then after. When the RegineTV.net site was suppose to be the official site something went down as it was starting to take off and it looked like the webber wasn't willing to do any more updating till issues with Regine's camp was resolved. I don't think it ever was. And the RegineVelasquez.net was acting like it was the official site because Regine did some postings in the guestbook and even used the webber to pass on a message to her fans about the Canada incident. The site even had some nice exclusive pictures of Regine with a group of fans during her birthday party at her home. But once again something went down with the webber and Regine's campers that wasn't too clear about that stopped the web site from being updated alot. But it looks like the webber intends to continue updating the site on her own without much official help. Probably because she was first of all known as a big Regine fan more than anything else. Its too bad she still has to answer for a few questionable things she was involve with before. Otherwise she would have easily gotten my vote for our "Regine Fan of the year" award. Now she can only be very thankful no one ever thought about a "Worst Regine fan" award. Only because you would never have thought that there could be such a person being a fan of hers. Jack, far as I know no one was being paid to "update" any of the Regine Velasquez official web sites. And the last official web site is now gone. The webber last words to me were he doesn't have the time to update date the sites. He was also the webber to the Ogie Alcasid web site. And probably to the other ones on the same web hosting server group. Including Erik Santos? Anyway, it was Boy Agenda who had a " backroom " hand in those web sites. So it isn't a surprise that they were taken out since his reasons (his motives) for them were not being as effective as he thought. The next official Regine Velasquez web site should be done with a condition attached about the site always being kept current and reasonably updated. The Music Inside Buzz's Regine area from the old site which was taken out was doing it for several years starting from 1999 to 2002. But it was not official sanctioned. And we never claimed it was either. Yet several misguided fans seemed to have given the people at Aria Productions the impression we were. But that is one of the biggest problems up to now. He would have been ok except he was showing a serious lack of respect for fans in general. And that was a big no-no if you're going to be someone specializing in celebrity web sites to me. In fact, the reason why we made the Pops Fernandez Fans Site and the Pops Picture Bin was because of the way the webber kept ignoring the many fan requests for new pictures on the artist on her official web site. So finally we decided to be the first one to react and make sites for them ourselves. They weren't better but they were more personalize for the fans to relate to.
