Subject: Unusual American Family

 Bill, I recently saw, on a Fox program, a story of a young black student finishing high school and never missing a day.
In the Dallas Morning News of Monday, May 21, there was a story of the Allen and Shelley George family who have the work ethic we wished all American families had. The son, Brett, just finished high school and in 14 years of school, he didn't miss a day. This included kindergarten and repeat of one grade. His older sister, Candice never missed a day of school, his father has 67 sick days he has not used, his mother has 97 sick days unused. His parents insist they eat dinner together each day and as far as the father is concerned school is the kids job.
