When we hear the words "separation of church and state" and how people have made laws off of this amendament in our bill of rights I just wanted to bring forth that those laws are unconstitutional and this is why:

Amendament 1 of the Bill of Rights is stated:

Congress shall make NO laws respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the FREE exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech or of the press, or the right of the people PEACEABLY to assemble, and to petition the government for redress of grievances.

None of that says we are to be separate but it does say we as Christians have just as much right as any one else to exercise our religion as any one else and these laws stopping the praying in public places and the things that stop us as christians from displaying at Christmas and saying Merry Christmas is wrong.

Personally, I do NOT want my government 'using' my belief in God, to garner support for it or its il-founded institutions.

Placing "In God We Trust" on government buildings or our currency doesn't mean that those using said buildings or money actually 'trusts in god'...

You can put a cross on a whore house, but it isn't gonna change what goes on inside.

All you are gonna manage to do is lure good christians into a place of il-repute.

Our government is NOT 'of God', and neither is our currency, and putting God onto government building and into national mottos, only serves to diminish that which God would truly stand for.

"Don't use my personal beliefe in God to garner support for your morally bankrupt institutions."
