We are fundamentally fighting a religious war and too bad that our elected officials just don't get it. Mohammed the so called prophet of Islam was a war general and a butcher if you read his history. Islam preaches hatred of all other religions especially christianity for which it has been at war for hundreds of years. Just like christians there are moderates within Islam but unlike christians they will not stand up against the barbaric teachings of the Quran. All these so called spokepersons of Islam that get onto various television shows and proclaim that Islam is a peaceful religion, are either ignorant or putting on a sham. All one has to do is look at what the Palestinian voters did by electing a terroist organization to represent the majority of the people. Their vote for Hamas is a good indication of how peaceful their so called religion really is. Our President and elected officials need to wake up and smell the coffee burning. It is a manual for taking over any people and forcibly converting them to Islam. President Bush had it wrong when he said that it is a religion of peace. To Islam peace equates to submission.
