After two years of 'stalking' ITD, we finally made it! Scott and I were very impressed with what a great community of wonderful Christians ITD is. We didn't have the door open a minute and John, Dennis, Matt, Dillon, and Trenton were there to help. What a great welcome. Ethan loved not only the great riding, but the fun activities (thanks Jessica for the Jackrabbits, and Scott and Cari for the treasure hunt & Poker Run). Camden enjoyed going trailer to trailer saying hello and playing with whom ever was awake (or not). He has earned the name "pooh" from the Murrays!
The Poker Run was great fun for us all. I was especially impressed with seeing so many competent and self-assured women and young women not only handling the task of taking care of their families or being girls, but jumping on bikes and charging up and down hillsides so independently. What a great testimony to the ITD ministry!
Thanks to all who helped us feel like part of the ITD family the moment we pulled in! We can't wait til next month!
