Then as Eric Bischoff was rewarded with screwing over DX on Cyber Sunday by being made guest General Manager for the night, the vengeful author sought revenge against Maria for her testimony at his trial last year by putting her into a match against the undefeated Samoan Bulldozer, Umaga. He picked her up and it seemed he might not go through with the Samoan drop, but finally he did, kayoing her instantly. Next, she was set up in the corner for a butt drop and again he teased that he might not go through with it, but he hit that too, with Jim Ross finally noticing she was unconscious. When he was about to give her the Samoan Spike, John Cena finally ran out as if he were watching the match up to now but THAT was enough. Cena took the occasion to accept a challenge for a match against Kevin Federline for New Years Day that the rapper made earlier in the evening.
I wonder if Britney Spears may get involved with the show in the two months till the event. She reportedly appeared on the David Letterman Show last night unannounced, but I don't know of any reported comments from her on the subject of KFed being on WWE at all.
Finally, Lita gave Mickie James another shot at the women's title, with the stipulation that Mickie would have one hand tied behind her back, as was the case with Cena in his match against Lita some weeks ago. The ref took a long time to tie the knot in front of Mickie's belly button, which enabled Lita to deliver another hard DDT kayo on Mickie for the second night in a row.
I have to say, other than these kayoes, the show was just awful.
Another thing about "Zoey 101": One of the completed episodes airing in the next few weeks is called "Wrestling", but it may not involve the female castmembers.
