You're writing under the assumption that SK is out to please your tastes and your tastes alone. As far as I can tell, the reason SK ad his crew are so good at what they do is that they aim higher than that and manage to somehow please a good 90% of the fantasy combat fans. This includes fans of mixed matches (myself included), handicap battles, and those who don't mind the director telling the girls what the rules are before a match.

You definitely sound like someone who REALLY knows what he likes, Julian. Might I suggest you rent a camera, hire some models, and give it a shot?
