I've been surfing this site off and on for years now,and the one thing that aggravates me is the arrogant people that have the attitude that there's their opinion and the wrong one. I've always been the type of guy who can "Agree to disagree"-i.e.-I may not like what your saying, but I respect your right to say it. I have some advice for these other types that seem to permeate this forum. #1-Use strong language. Obscenity shows you mean business. #2 Having an opinion about something doesn't require that you've actually tried it. Conservative groups have legitamized this practice by objecting to books they haven't read or movies they haven't seen. #3 If a sentence early in the post rubs you the wrong way,you are not obligated to finish reading. Stop and express your anger while it's fresh. #4 If the writer responds with evidence that your wrong-(for example,by citing a paragraph you overlooked) Disappear. This is the Internet. Slipping away without apology is your privelige.#5 If you disagree with apositive review, call the reviewer a "fanboy." Dismiss any notion that the product, service, show, movie or restaraunt might actually be good. #6 If it's negative, call the reviewer a "basher" and describe the review as a "hatchet job." Suggest that he might be paid off. #7 If it's a mixed review, ignore passages that balance the argument and refer to it as a "rave" or a "slam",whichever supports your position.
