but david is not shown in a negative light by collier/horowitz; in fact, it's the only book that respects his qualities as an individual, not just as a "bad kennedy".
i find something poignant in his struggles and that's personal - he shouldn't be simplified as just a drug addict etc..........;
i prefer to find the humanity in the kennedy legacy, and that includes the not-so-good things.
