There was some speculation that cell-phone calls Carolyn made during the flight might have scrambled the plane's instruments and caused the crash.
She and Carolyn were very, very close, so I doubt Carole will write anything negative about her. Maybe Caroline is worried Carole will cast *John* in a negative light for a change? (Although even in Sons of Camelot, Carolyn's biggest defenders still admit that it was Carolyn and her various problems that caused all of the drama in the marriage.)
