Are other states having difficulty with the new contract at the state level that the state is telling girls that they are not allowed to carry any title as a local title holder into states?

I think this is a little extreme or is this just our state miscommunicating what nationals says

VA contestants now sign a contract that excludes them from competing or holding other titles while being a local titleholder. I'm a parent and I think it is a GREAT rule. My teen agrees with it too. If you don't like the new rule, do other systems.

How do you think we got someone in the top ten at nationals all those years. All the practice they get in other systems.

I think that the girls in OT should have to carry out the whole reign, and stop being crown chasers like some states have

[> Subject: In our state several girls competed and won other state titles AFTER they won their local and are now competing at the state MAOT ccompetition. I think that should not be allowed, however, once state is over and they want to compete somewhere else I think that is o.k. because they have fulfilled their duties to the local title. IMO
