A young lady Javeria Shakil through her letter in Daily Nation on 9.9.2003) showed her surprise on the “boldness” of an inter position holder saying on TV in presence of Board officials that he did not attend more than 5% classes. Javeria wonders when by law 75% attendance is required how position holder appeared in the examination in the first place.

Javeria appears to be very innocent. If a true honest research oriented NGO makes a study that from 1950 to 1985 how many students belonging to NWFP passed LL.B examinations from Karachi based on their college certified above 75-95% attendance it will be revealed during same periods they had 95% attendances in NWFP in their offices and works. I do not know what is position today but during 1960 to 1985 people from all over Pakistan used to get themselves registered for LL.B in Karachi and come to Karachi only in examination days. The only reason was facility of false attendance facility and one another “facility” which is another subject. Javeria being resident of Karachi can verify this fact.
