Subject: Raven's Post-Christmas Message

I just wanted you guys to know that Christmas ended up being one of the loveliest times that John and I have ever spent together. As soon as we woke up and got our showers in, we spent all morning in the kitchen together making this tremendous meal. He read everything off that I needed to do from the recipe sheets, cleaned the bowls and stuff as we went along, and I did all the cooking and prep and it was actually the best part of the meal because we laughed so much. The prime Rib was done much earlier than the recipe called for, so we had to rush and make the Yorkshire pudding, and get that into the oven once we got the Prime Rib out, but everything turned out to be absolutely perfect! We could not get over how delicious everything was! We watched some wonderful movies together and felt blessed that we had this wonderful moment in time together. For us, Christmas was not about gifts, shopping, or decorations this year. It had to really count this year and it did. The spirit of Christmas is so much more beautiful than all the merchandising anyway. Some people will never feel Christmas in their hearts ever until something hits them that changes everything. For the many that know how to keep Christmas, God bless you........

On Christmas Eve, I was trying to see if I could leave a beautiful Christmas greeting on the walls of people who are special to me and to those who have always taken the time to leave me such lovely notes out here, but unfortunately about half way through, I was getting bleary eyed and had to stop. If I didn't leave you one, please know that my intentions were good. It was truly nothing personal, but obviously it was quite an undertaking! I tried! I hope each and every one of you had a truly magical Christmas, and that 2013 brings you nothing but hope, love, light, and better times for us all. I go in on Friday to have the port surgically implanted in my chest and then it's chemo next week. For me, 2013 is all about hope. I know that's what is waiting for me in that infusion center, and it's hope. Something to hold onto that might work or at least give me some chance. I'll keep you posted whenever I can. Thank you for all the love and support. May each and every one of you have the happiest 2013! Happy New Year! XOXOXOXO!

Thank you for your well wishes. I could use some good luck in finding a job.
As for you, I wish you all the best as you continue on your journey to heal your body. Miracles happen everyday and having faith, positive energy directed your way, hope and the light of God shining on you works greatly in your favor. May God bless you and stand by your side every step of the way.
